Tired of putting out show after show when you feel like no one is listening?
IT'S TIME TO BE HEARD
The Podcast Profs make podcast marketing simple.
Why do you need a marketing consultant?
Putting yourself out there is hard enough. Not only do you have to contend with the emotional part of sharing what you do, you can also feel like you have to become a master at marketing. It’s a real challenge to build an audience, get engagement, create fans, and make a successful business for yourself. This is where I come in as a marketing consultant and coach. Let me help you achieve your dreams by teaching you how to get the most out of your marketing efforts through social media and digital marketing.
WHAT WE OFFER
Individual consultations for podcasters with Rob Southgate.
One-on-One sessions are focused on your needs and desires as a podcaster and how to make the most of marketing your brand via digital and social media marketing techniques. We teach you how to achieve your podcast goals rather than simply sell you a package that (not really) does it for you..
Private sessions with your entire podcast team.
Team sessions are focused on the needs of your specific podcast. Topics covered are your social media engagement, digital marketing opportunities, growing your audience, taking your podcast to the next level, and more. Each session includes a pre-screening and AMA to make sure we are working on your team’s desired outcomes.
SMALL GROUP SESSIONS
Marketing skill development in a group setting with other podcasters from various shows.
Each session is focused on a specific topic to improve your podcast marketing skills or presented as an AMA with podcast network head and digital marketing professor, Rob Southgate. Group sessions are a great way to get answers to questions you didn’t know you had.

Why pay for a consultant when I find answers online?
Finding answers online is easy. Finding the right answers, tailored to your specific needs is why you hire a consultant. If you feel you are ready to treat your business like something more than a hobby, hiring consultants can help you grow and attract customers much faster and greatly increase your chance to meet your dreams.
What’s the difference between a coach and a consultant?
A consultant is a professional that is able to offer expert advice tailored to your business and needs. A coach helps an owner clarify their vision and goals. A coach’s goal is to help take a business from where it is now to where it wants to be.
Is there a guarantee if this doesn’t work?
Unfortunately, no. Results cannot be guaranteed because results are contingent on your efforts. We can help you reach your goals but your success has a lot to do with variables that we cannot control.
What happens if I need something specific that Rob can’t help with?
Rob has assembled a network fo experts who share knowledge freely with each other. Rob relies on this team to provide the best possible solutions specific to your needs.
How do payments work?
All sessions are prepaid. Payment plans are available. Southgate Small Business accepts Zelle and/or PayPal.
Why can’t I simply hire you to do all the marketing for me?
Southgate Small Business is a consulting/coaching business. We teach you how to market for your specific goals which empowers you to market for yourself going forward. If you want a third party to do the work, you need to hire a marketing agency.
Why aren’t the prices online?
While we do have standard price guidelines, program and service pricing is based on individual needs and scope of work.
Can I buy this as an online program to do at my own pace?
Yes! Or more accurately we should say, “Yes, soon!”. We are currently developing online courses and webinars to provide more ways to learn the skills entrepreneurs need in a way that works best for them.
